Napoli will look to Rasmus Hojlund in their home Champions League game against Arsenal tonight, but Massimiliano Allegri is short on midfield options, with Scott McTominay and André-Frank Zambo Anguissa unavailable.

It kicks off at 21:00 CET [20:00 BST] at the Stadio Maradona in Naples.

Scotland international McTominay underwent a minor heart procedure on Tuesday and won’t return to action until October, while Anguissa is dealing with an adductor injury.

This means Allegri only has four available central midfielders and, according to several sources in Italy, including Sky and Gazzetta, Billy Gilmour, Stanislav Lobotka and Kevin De Bruyne will get the nod in the middle of the park, with Antonio Vergara initially on the bench.

The three-man attack is the same Allegri picked in Saturday’s Serie A match against Inter: Matteo Politano, Hojlund and Alisson Santos.

Alessandro Buongiorno, Luca Marianucci and Giovane are also unavailable for Napoli, as they are not part of their UEFA list.

Italy international Riccardo Calafiori is expected to start as a left-back in Arsenal’s 4-2-3-1 formation.
