According to the ranking compiled by AS, Lois Openda is the fastest player in the Champions League this season, hitting a top speed of 36.2 km/h while playing for Juventus. He is closely followed by the Gabonese striker Aubameyang (35.8 km/h). Timothy Weah (34.3 km/h), Aubameyang's teammate at OM, rounds out the top 10.

Jérémie Frimpong (35.6 km/h) from Liverpool, Karim Adeyemi (35.4 km/h) from Dortmund, and Raoul Bellanova (35 km/h) from Atalanta complete the top 5. Bradley Barcola (35 km/h) of PSG is 6th, Pedro Neto (34.9 km/h) of Chelsea is 7th, Djed Spence (34.5 km/h) of Tottenham is 8th, while Nuno Mendes (34.4 km/h) comes in at 9th.
