A number of Swansea City supporters have piled praise on Olivier Ntcham following the midfielder’s influential performance off the bench in their 2-1 win against West Brom.

Swansea went into the game aiming to build on their excellent performance in their 3-0 win against Cardiff City in the derby clash last weekend.

Despite going behind early on, Russell Martin’s side were able to show a lot of quality and fighting spirit to turn things around and secure another win.

Martin brought Ntcham on at half time for Flynn Downes. The midfielder played a significant role in helping the Swans take control of the game and force their way back into the contest.

The 25-year-old was involved in a lot of the good football that the Swans were able to produce in the second half, as they forced West Brom onto the back foot and took complete control of the contest.

Ntcham had 33 touches of the ball and he maintained an 84% passing accuracy as he helped to get the Swans into some dangerous positions in the final third.

It was the sort of impact that suggests that the midfielder should be knocking on the door to start in the coming games.

Have Swansea City had a higher or lower average attendance compared to these 23 sides this season?

Many Swansea fans were impressed with Ntcham’s display from the bench and a lot of them thought that he had made a major impact to change the game.
