Charlie Cresswell endured a mixed night as Toulouse reached the Coupe de France semi-finals, edging a 2-2 draw 4-3 on penalties on Wednesday.

He scored from a corner on 60 minutes, then left the pitch injured five minutes later. According to L'Équipe, head coach Carles Martinez Novell said afterwards the English defender felt something in his hamstring.

Martinez Novell added he thought Saturday's match, only two days away, would be difficult for Cresswell, and he hoped his absence would be as brief as possible.

This season Cresswell and Angers' Jordan Lefort are the only outfield players to have completed every minute of every Ligue 1 game.

Toulouse face Marseille next in Ligue 1.
