Charlton Athletic and Queens Park Rangers drew 0-0 at The Valley, a result that lifts the visitors to 10th in the Championship.

In the 32nd minute Conor Coady was denied by Joe Walsh from close range after a corner, the goalkeeper parrying in front of goal.

After the restart Walsh stayed sharp, tipping over from Charlie Kelman (47.) and thwarting Lyndon Dykes low to his left (57.).

Tyreece Campbell's introduction added thrust down the right, and his cross found Sonny Carey at the back post, the midfielder shooting over (76.).

Thomas Kaminski then preserved the clean sheet for Charlton, saving from Richard Kone at the near post (80.) before pushing away a skidding drive from Nicolas Madsen (82.).

Queens Park Rangers pressed deep into added time. Steve Cook headed just over in the second minute of stoppage time, Rayan Kolli was denied by Kaminski in the third minute, and Kone nodded wide in the eighth minute.

Charlton tallied 16 attempts, with five on target. Queens Park Rangers registered 18 attempts, four on target, and 57.1% possession.

Charlton stay 17th. Next, Charlton host Stoke City. Queens Park Rangers welcome Blackburn Rovers.
