Leeds United face a quick turnaround for Tuesday’s Premier League trip to historic rivals Chelsea, with injuries on both sides but several timely returns after 3-1 wins at the weekend.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, six players are ruled out and four are doubts for the Stamford Bridge meeting, with one of those doubts expected back. Kick-off is 7.30pm on Tuesday.

Chelsea’s depth has left boss Liam Rosenior with options despite absentees at rock-bottom Wolves, where Cole Palmer hit a first-half hat-trick in a 3-1 victory. Palmer has been managing an injury, started and played 61 minutes without obvious issue. The Blues also sustained a possible new injury concern in that match.

Palmer is available. Pedro Neto, a doubt after a small knock in the 3-2 win over West Ham, started at Molineux and completed the game. Estevao returned from compassionate leave, featured off the bench in the midweek Carabao Cup semi-final against Arsenal, then was an unused substitute at Wolves.

Leeds welcomed back James Justin, who had toe bruising against Arsenal but completed Friday’s 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest. Dan James came on in the 78th minute, his first minutes since a hamstring tendon injury in November’s 3-2 defeat at Manchester City. Jaka Bijol returned to training and made the squad after three games out with a hamstring issue.
