Chelsea are being linked with yet another attacking player, with rumour site TeamTalk saying the Blues are interested in Benfica rising star Gianluca Prestianni.

The 20 year old spent most of last season just settling in to life in Europe, but showed big flashes of quality. The start of this season has seen him go to a new level in Marco Silva’s side, who are looking set to battle for the title with Porto. Presitanni will be at the heart of that.

The piece points out that the winger has been well known to Premier League teams for a while, and they’re all paying close attention to his adaptation at Benfica. “Several English clubs tracked him during his breakthrough spell with Velez, where he established a reputation as one of South America’s standout teenage prospects,” they write.

Chelsea have a slew of talented attackers already, and it’s not quite clear where Prestianni would fit in to that. Right now the focus should be on getting Estevao more minutes, not on adding yet more potential in the form of another winger.
