Chelsea believe it would be best for the development of Tyrique George if he went on loan next season according to journalist Matt Law.
George was promoted to the first team squad last season, and had somewhat of a breakthrough campagin as he scored his first Premier League goal against Fulham, whilst he also scored in the Conference League.
The 19-year-old made 26 appearances in all competitions, with eight of those in the Premier League, and 12 in the Conference League.
However, with the attacking signings Chelsea have made in Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens and Liam Delap, with Xavi Simons and Alejandro Garnacho possibly to follow, George has fallen down the pecking order.
It’s hard to see where George is getting a look in next season, and at his age he needs regular minutes for his development.

George has been linked with a move to Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig, and Law has provided an update on his Chelsea future.
“Chelsea believes Tyrique’s development would be better served out on loan, because they feel he had a breakthrough season at the end of last season, and now he needs to try and play more regularly, and sitting on the bench would do him no good,” he told The London Is Blue Podcast.
It’s vital Chelsea pick the right loan move, and a Premier League or top Championship loan could prove to be really beneficial for George.
Whilst George could leave on loan, Marc Guiu completed a loan move to Premier League new boys Sunderland on Friday.

The teenager joined Chelsea from Barcelona last summer for £5m, but made just three Premier League appearances.
The move to Sunderland should provide him with a chance to play regularly at this level, and at the very least boost his transfer value, although Chelsea reportedly view Guiu as part of their long term plans.
