Chelsea boss Xabi Alonso says the club are managing different groups of players effectively in training as they prepare for the start of the Premier League season.
Liam Delap, Tosin and Nicolas Jackson are among the players to have been training in a separate group from the main squad under Alonso.
“No, we are managing well with group dynamics,” Alonso explained, however.
“Whenever we need, we have different groups, so it’s not been an issue at the moment.”
Alonso also dismissed any uncertainty over Enzo Fernandez’s future, insisting the midfielder remains fully focused on Chelsea’s campaign.

“He’s training really well since he started 10 days ago with the team, very integrated. We are happy with him and he’s getting ready for Monday.
“He’s training really well and I see him with a really good attitude and that’s what we want. Everyone is trying their best to prepare for the kick-off of the Premier League.”
