Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior has now confirmed that defender Tosin Adarabioyo has finally returned to full team training.

The news comes ahead of Rosenior getting set to take on his former club Hull City in the FA Cup later this evening, but this game will certainly come much too soon for Tosin to be involved in.

Although, Rosenior has left it all rather up in the air and suggests that actually, a decision on Tosin will be made with his medical team today, as to whether he can be involved or not tonight. So it is a possibility.

In words cited on X last night, Rosenior said on Tosin:

“Tosin trained fully for the first time today [Wednesday], so it might come a little bit too soon. But we’ll make that judgement tomorrow with the medical team.”

This would mean that he has had two days of training ahead of the game tonight, so there is a chance that he might come back into the squad to let other key players rest. Let’s see what happens with the starting team selection when it comes out later on.

Another player who could get some very rare minutes tonight even though it would be a real shock still if he does, is deep backup goalkeeper Teddy Sharman-Lowe, who was recalled early from his loan with Bolton in the winter.

Meanwhile, Jamie Carragher does not rate Chelsea’s summer signing of Liam Delap and believes the striker should have gone to a lesser club before he moved to a big club like Chelsea, making the switch from Ipswich Town.
