Chelsea have reportedly made a decision to bring in a goalkeeper who could now challenge for a first team spot.
The Blues most certainly have a bit of a goalkeeper situation going on right now. Robert Sanchez is off the back of making two big errors once again in Chelsea’s 3-2 defeat against Arsenal last night, going back to his bad habits.
Alejandro Garnacho then twice saved Chelsea in order to keep them in the overall tie across the two legs, with one late goal being crucial for the result.
The goalkeeper position is one that many Chelsea fans wanted to see upgraded in recent transfer window, but they didn’t act on anything and despite trying to sign Mike Maignan from AC Milan at one point, they opted against bringing in a new goalkeeper.

Well, it’s not a new goalkeeper, but Chelsea are bringing one back in apparently.
The Evening Standard are reporting that Chelsea have recalled goalkeeper Teddy Sharman-Lowe from his loan spell at Bolton Wanderers.
Chelsea activated a break clause in Sharman-Lowe’s contract at Bolton, where he had initially joined on a season-long loan in the summer.
The report claims that Chelsea will now consider the best next step for the 22-year-old shot-stopper, with one option for him to remain with the first team for the remainder of the season.
If they have bought Sharman-Lowe back in to compete for a first team spot, then I reckon that Filip Jorgensen might be leaving this window.
He wants to go apparently and is concerned about his World Cup spot with Denmark. So this might be Chelsea replacing him. Let’s see what happens.
