Chelsea confirm deal to sign Dutch striker in 2026 | OneFootball

Chelsea have confirmed that the club have agreed a deal to sign striker Emanuel Emegha from Ligue 1 side RC Strasbourg.

Emegha will link up with the West Londoners after an agreement was reached with sister-club Strasbourg. The 22-year-old scored 14 goals and provided three assists in Ligue 1 last season to attract interest from across Europe.

Emegha turned down transfer interest to remain at Strasbourg this season as the French side look to secure European qualification under Liam Rosenior. The 6ft 5in forward will join Chelsea in 2026, adding another goalscoring option to Enzo Maresca’s squad.

He has scored 24 goals in 63 games since joining Strasbourg from Sturm Graz in 2023. Though yet to be capped at senior level, Emegha has netted twice in six caps for the Netherlands u-21 side.
