It’s been a really tough debut campaign for Gittens following his move from Borussia Dortmund last summer, and he’s struggled to impress.
The winger has scored one goal in 27 appearances this season, and hasn’t featured for the Blues since the win against West Ham at the end of January.
Gittens had got himself fit and was very close to a return to action, but Rosenior confirmed he’d suffered a set back in training.
Meanwhile, Jorgensen hasn’t played since the 5-2 defeat against PSG in the Champions League, and underwent surgery on a minor groin injury after the game and hasn’t been part of the first team since.
With just six games remaining plus the FA Cup semi final against Leeds, Rosenior cast doubt over whether the pair would feature again this season.
“I can’t give you a definitive answer on that,” he said as quoted by The Standard.
“Jamie actually has responded really well to his last setback, but I don’t want to put pressure on him, we need to make sure he’s right in the long term.”
Then asked for an update on Jorgensen, Rosenior responded: “The same.”

Rosenior’s men have lost their last three league games in a row, and are expected to be without Reece James and Trevoh Chalobah.
Failure to win would heap more pressure on Rosneior, and see Chelsea’s hopes of playing in the Champions League fade even further.
