Premier League club Chelsea are paying close attention to Bologna striker Santiago Castro and could end up making a move for the player in the upcoming winter transfer window. As per a calciomercato.com report, the Blues are monitoring the Argentine striker who is the youngest in Bologna history to score 10 Serie A goals. Chelsea have quite the collection of Argentines at the club presently. Enzo Fernandez, Facundo Buonanotte, Alejandro Garnacho and Aaron Anselmino (who is on loan at Borussia Dortmund). They also have three centre forwards in Liam Delap, Joao Pedro and Marc Guiu with Emanuel Emegha on the way but the club have not been shy of stocking up on players of late. This season Castro has played 5 Serie A games, starting 3 of them, scoring 1 and assisting 1. The 21 year old is expected to get a sizeable tally this season. It is expected that more big clubs will compete with Chelsea soon for his signing. Kaulik Mitra | GIFN
