The 2024 FIFPRO Women’s World XI has been announced, with England being the most represented country with five players in the team.

Lucy Bronze, Mary Earps, Alex Greenwood, Lauren James and Keira Walsh have all been selected in the XI, voted for by over 7,000 female players.

Bronze has equalled a record with her inclusion, as this is the seventh time she has been named in this team.

The 33-year-old has had an illustrious career and joined Chelsea this season following spells at Barcelona, Manchester City, Lyon, Liverpool and Everton. The right-back has also played 127 times for her country.

Earps was chosen as the goalkeeper following an outstanding year with Manchester United before she moved on to Paris St-Germain in the summer.

Defender Greenwood enjoyed a great season with Manchester City while Keira Walsh is named in midfield after winning the Spanish league title, Champions League and Copa de la Reina with Barcelona.

Lauren James is one of four forwards included after scoring 13 goals in 16 WSL games to help Chelsea to the title.
