Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing an Ivory Coast winger who has 3 goals in 9 games for his country so far.
It’s actually his only 9 games he’s had for Ivory Coast so far, having come up through the youth teams of his national side first.
Chelsea are mostly being linked with new centre backs right now for this transfer window, but we are hearing a lot about other positions being targeted in the summer probably, as well as any potential more opportunities arising this window.
January is a long month so they have plenty of time still to get some deals done, but this story is more than likely going to be one for the summer, of they do decide to make an attempt to try and sign him

According to Sky Germany, Chelsea among top clubs interested in RB Leipzig’s winger Yan Diomande.
The 19-year-old left winger has only been at Leipzig since the summer but already there are talks of the big clubs coming in for him – Chelsea being one of them.
We’ll see if anything goes any further on this one, but it’s clear that if this is a transfer that is going to happen then it will be for the summer of 2026 rather than this window now.
Obviously we had a game on yesterday with Chelsea beating Brentford 2-0 at Stamford Bridge in their latest Premier League match. It was a needed win, but it might have come at the cost of another injury to a defender, with Liam Rosenior putting the latest out on that after the game yesterday afternoon.
Cole Palmer’s poor recent form continued yesterday, but Rosenior has defended his attacking midfielder in the media and denied any suggestion of poor form.
