Chelsea are one of four Premier League clubs who have Wolves forward Matheus Cunha on their radar according to the Daily Mail.
The January window is into the final two weeks and this is generally when things start to heat up in regards to transfers.
The Blues have been quieter than expected and as of yet haven’t moved any players on, but they have recalled both Aaron Anselmino and Trevoh Chalobah from their loans and agreed a deal worth €15m with Strasbourg for Mamadou Sarr who will join in the summer.
Chelsea have reinforced defensively this month given injuries to Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile, but they are also looking to add at the other end of the pitch.
The Blues need a striker to compete with Nicolas Jackson, who despite having nine league goals hasn’t scored in his last six games.
Chelsea have been linked with both Benjamin Sesko and Liam Delap, and they are thought to be the front runners for the Ipswich striker.

In order to bring another forward in it appears one will have to move on and Chelsea are now said to be open to offers for Joao Felix, despite the Portugal international only joining six months ago.
Christopher Nkunku is attracting interest from Bayern Munich, but Chelsea’s £65m asking price could hinder any potential deal.
However, Mail Sport have reported that Chelsea are interested in Wolves forward Cunha, who has been in talks about signing a new deal at Molineux.
The report adds Nottingham Forest have the 25-year-old as their number one target this month, whilst Arsenal and Tottenham are also interested.
