The new Blues boss is reportedly keen on a reunion with the Leicester star, and the interest if mutual
Leicester City star Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has hailed Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca as "an unbelievable manager" amid reported interest from the Blues.
Dewsbury-Hall is a summer target of Chelsea, according to The Athletic, who reportedly view the 25-year-old as an ideal addition for the style of play Maresca wishes to implement. The Leicester academy graduate, the report adds, is open to the switch.
The midfielder worked with Maresca last season, making 49 appearances in all competitions, and scoring 12 goals, as the Foxes won the Championship, and on Thursday was full of praise for Maresca.
He told BBC Sport: "Enzo was an unbelievable manager. I genuinely see him becoming a top manager, so it wasn’t a surprise to see he was in demand. It is weird having to change a manager after being so successful, but that’s football."
Dewsbury-Hall has also been linked with Brighton, who reportedly failed with a January approach for the Leicester star.
Leicester valued Dewsbury-Hall at £30 million last season but is expected to command far bigger fee 12 months on. He has three years left on his contract the King Power Stadium.
