Chelsea make contact over possible move for defender – latest transfer reports | OneFootball

Raya Vallecano defender Pep Chavarría is reportedly among the options Chelsea are considering to replace Marc Cucurella.

Spanish newspaper Marca say “first contacts between the parties have already taken place” but that the 28-year-old is attracting interest from other clubs, including Bayer Leverkusen.

Chelsea are said to be considering an official offer for the defender, however.

The Blues are, meanwhile, close to completing a deal for Atalanta right-back Marco Palestra.

Elsewhere, The Athletic report that Liverpool target Yan Diomande has chosen PSG as his next club if he leaves RB Leipzig.

And Sky Sports say PSG’s Bradley Barcola ranks highly among the list of alternatives for Liverpool.

Sky Sports are also reporting that Porto are interested in signing Sunderland striker Eliezer Mayenda. 

Everton are closing in on the £25m signing of midfielder Hayden Hackney from Middlesbrough, The Telegraph say.

Toulouse defender Charlie Cresswell and Liverpool’s Harvey Elliott are reportedly among Crystal Palace’s summer targets.

And Barcelona are said to be keen on a move for England captain and Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane, though he is reportedly more keen on signing a new deal at the German club.
