Chelsea midfielder Rytting Kaneryd signs new deal | OneFootball

Chelsea midfielder Johanna Rytting Kaneryd has signed a new contract with the club.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Blues this afternoon.

It has been reported that the player has signed on again with Chelsea until summer 2027.

Rytting Kaneryd joined Chelsea from Swedish club BK Häcken in summer 2022. The player has made 107 appearances for the South West Londoners in all competitions in which she has scored 10 goals. The Swedish international has won three consecutive Barclays Women’s Super League titles, two Adobe Women’s FA Cups and the Subway Women’s League Cup with The Blues.

After signing on with Chelsea for an extended period, Rytting Kaneryd said “It feels amazing to have signed a new contract with Chelsea. I am delighted to extend my time here because I really do love this place. Since the first day I stepped into this club, it has felt like home.

“It is my first time living away from Sweden and this really does feel like home. I love going to work every day and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to be. I am someone who is always striving to improve and I know there is much more to come from me in the future.”
