According to L'Équipe, Chelsea mocked Arsenal on social media within minutes of their Champions League final loss to PSG on Saturday. The match finished 1-1, PSG won 4-3 on penalties.
The Blues' post contained two sentences and a carousel of photos. The images showed the Champions League trophy, won in 2012 and 2021, and the Club World Cup, secured in 2021 and 2025, alongside an invitation to visit London’s trophy house.
The jab was a subtle swipe at Arsenal, who have not won either of those titles.
The carousel also highlighted two slogans displayed at Stamford Bridge, "London's Finest" and "The Pride of London".
Arsenal were also ribbed by other English clubs on X that evening, with Crystal Palace, recent Europa Conference League winners, and Nottingham Forest, European Cup winners in 1979 and 1980, joining in.
