Chelsea have now been linked with a 27-year-old full back who has 37 international appearances to his name and a short contract.

The news comes off the back of Chelsea only managing to draw 2-2 at home with Ipswich Town yesterday, a team who are destined to be in the Championship again next season

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea ARE looking to sign a new goalkeeper this summer and have world class name on the table!! 👀

One BBC pundit has pinned the blame on the players for the draw yesterday, saying that they have to take a long hard look at themselves after that poor performance.

And head coach Enzo Maresca has also picked out two of his players for making some mistakes in the game which he believes was not good enough and cost them.

Overall though it was so poor, and blame really must be shared between the head coach, the manager, and those who have built an unbalanced squad at Chelsea that severely lacks quality experience and balance.

But the attentions will soon be turning to the summer transfer market as the club look to sign improvements to a few areas on the pitch. The full back position has not been mentioned at all so far but apparently Chelsea are eyeing one.

Football Italia relay some information today reporting that Chelsea, Tottenham, and Manchester City are all interested in signing AC Milan full back Theo Hernandez.

Hernandez is likely to leave the San Siro this summer with Milan looking to raise funds for a squad overhaul. The France international has just over a year of his contract remaining so clubs may sense an opportunity to get him on the cheap.

According to Fichajes, Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham are in a three-way battle to sign Theo Hernandez.
