Chelsea have offered Alejandro Garnacho to Serie A sides as the club look to offload the winger this summer.
Garnacho struggled to make the desired impact after arriving from Manchester United for £40m last summer, and Chelsea are ready to sanction his sale.
AS Roma are reportedly open to a deal, as the Italian side look to bolster their squad ahead of Champions League football. However, Roma’s preference is an initial loan, with Chelsea seeking a permanent exit.
According to Tuttomercato, Chelsea have contacted Napoli to discuss a deal. Napoli are long-term admirers of Garnacho and the Blues have spoken to the Serie A side’s sporting director, Giovanni Manna, to gauge their interest. Chelsea are hoping to recoup their £40m investment for the Argentina international.
Chelsea have been active in terms of sales as the West Londoners reshape under Xabi Alonso. Marc Cucurella, Andrey Santos and Tyrique George have all departed permanently for combined fees of around £120m.
