Chelsea have just taken on Qarabag in the Champions League, and the results weren’t too pretty.

Despite going ahead in the game, the Blues stumbled and gave two goals away. Enzo Maresca was forced into halftime changes, but still could only slightly improve things with the big guns on the pitch. Chelsea equalised – but that was all they could manage.

Estevao threatens again and makes another contribution

One person who did impress was Estevao. The young winger got 90 minutes for Chelsea for just the second time and did well in his time on the pitch. Even in tricky conditions, on a bad surface and getting a ton of attention from defenders, he was able to be the Blues’ most threatening player, as the stats show.

The clamour to start Estevao in the Premier League will only grow as he performs, but Enzo Maresca is going to hold his line and keep the youngster to cup starts for now.

Hopefully Pedro Neto is feeling the pressure and performs against his old club this weekend. We want a confident win to put this game behind us.
