One Chelsea player has come out and said that new head coach Liam Rosenior is “doing really well” in his new role at the club.
Some of the Chelsea players were probably a little bit miffed that Enzo Maresca left and that they had to now get used to another new manager. But such is life if you are a player at Chelsea, and most top clubs these days, where manager changes often arrive more regularly than the London Underground Trains!
I’m not sure that Chelsea fans are yet to really warm up to Rosenior, but then not all of them ever really warmed up to Maresca either. They both basically play exactly the same style of football, so that bit should be easy enough in terms of adapting.
Moises Caicedo, who was the hero from last night, has come out and said that Rosenior is doing really well at Chelsea.
It needed a very late Moises Caicedo header for Chelsea to finally get the goal in order to beat Pafos in the Champions League last night, after they huffed and puffed all game long but to no joy.
Fans were complaining about the same thing they have seen time and time again under Enzo Maresca with inverted full backs, lack of overlapping full backs, and an isolated striker.

In quotes picked up on X after the game, Moises Caicedo on working under Liam Rosenior:
“He’s doing really well. So we are adapting well to what he wants. We are working really hard every day. It’s important for us to do what he wants so we can be better in every game.”
It’s certainly going to take a lot more convincing yet for many Chelsea fans, including myself. Game by game for me, and I’ve not see much yet.
