Chelsea readying ‘creative offers’ to sign £50m Premier League player this summer | OneFootball

Chelsea are reportedly putting together some ‘creative offers’ to sign Tottenham star Lucas Bergvall this summer.

But there are two potential issues here. Arsenal are also after him, as other clubs will be as well, and Tottenham apparently see him as ‘unsellable.’

As we know, no player is ever unsellable, and also, Spurs on the brink of possibly being relegated from the Premier League to the Championship and might not have the luxury of being able to keep all their best players if they do.

Chelsea were linked to the Tottenham midfielder back in the winter window as well, so there is clearly something here in this one.

Chelsea to move for Bergvall?

Caught Offside report that Chelsea remain interested in the 20-year-old, with “creative offers” possible.

They say that Bergvall’s market value has risen sharply. And apparently analysts they have spoken to expect that if Tottenham were to negotiate, talks would start around £50 million. 

A lot of money for a very young player still. Huge talent though of course.

In other news today

Liam Delap has said Chelsea have the belief they can finish in the top five and win the FA Cup despite their struggles this season. I’d like some of his positivity!

And on Delap, we are already hearing the excuses about why he has not been playing well in a Chelsea shirt since arriving in the summer. We’re all tired of excuses to be honest.
