Chelsea scoop WSL award double | OneFootball

WSL champions Chelsea Women scooped up the two monthly awards for September as they begin their title defence.

The Blues won all four of their games in the opening month of the 2025/26 campaign and have been rewarded with the Player of the Month and Manager of the Month awards.

Sonia Bompastor was awarded Manager of the Month for overseeing victories over Manchester City, Aston Villa, West Ham United, and Leicester City.

Meanwhile, Lionesses forward Aggie Beever-Jones picked up Player of the Month for the first time in her career after scoring in all four games for Chelsea in the month of September.

The London side currently top the WSL with five games played but drew both of their last games 1-1 – with Manchester United last weekend and FC Twente in the Champions League on Wednesday.
