Chelsea have completed the signing of France international defender Maxence Lacroix from Crystal Palace.
The 26-year-old has arrived for a reported £52m transfer fee and has signed a contract until the summer of 2032 at Stamford Bridge.
He arrived at Palace two years ago from Wolfsburg and won three trophies during a massively successful spell with the Eagles.
It is expected that Lacroix will soon be joined at Chelsea by Premier League veterans Danny Welbeck and Jordan Henderson.
The club are yet to confirm a squad number for the new arrival.
