Chelsea are set to sign defender Guela Doue from Rennes in a £7.6m deal, according to Sky in Italy.

The 21-year-old, who is the older brother of Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain target Desire Doue, is then expected to go out on loan to fellow BlueCo owned club Strasbourg.

Sky Sports are also reporting that Manchester United are exploring a swap deal with Inter Milan that would see Aaron Wan-Bissaka move to Italy and Denzel Dumfries come to Manchester.

United also want to sign a left-back this summer, according to the Daily Mirror, with Feyenoord’s David Hancko, Barcelona’s Marcos Alonso and Crystal Palace’s Tyrick Mitchell among potential targets.

Arsenal’s Emile Smith-Rowe looks set to join Fulham, with the Premier League side close to agreeing a £35m deal with the Gunners for the 23-year-old.

Asked about Smith-Rowe’s future after he did not play in the pre-season friendly with Bournemouth, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said: “Yeah, there are things happening in the background at the moment. We decided the best thing to do was to keep him away from the game today.”

The Gunners are, however, on the verge of signing Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna in a deal worth £42m.

And finally, West Ham have offered £30m plus a young player for Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran, according to Fabrizio Romano, and have also reached an agreement with Bayern Munich to sign Noussair Mazraoui, Sky in Germany say.
