Liam Rosenior says his Chelsea side must keep their concentration better after letting a two-goal lead slip to draw 2-2 with Leeds.

Goals from Joao Pedro and Cole Palmer had ensured the Blues were comfortable in the game before from Lukas Nmecha and Noah Okafor secured a point for the visitors.

“The penalty goes in, they hit a few long balls, their energy is up, they pick up a few second balls and then the lad handballs it,” Rosenior said on his side’s collapse.

“He handballs it, it affects my players in that moment. They think it is a handball, we switch off, we don’t clear the ball and they score.

“For 25 minutes after that it was wave after wave of attack. We have to just make sure we take care of moments and be professional.

“You’re always going to have a spell in the game when you’re not on top. The ridiculous thing for us is they have managed to score two goals in a five-minute period when for the other 90 minutes of the game we were by far the better team.”

Meanwhile, defender Marc Cucurella was forced off at half-time and Rosenior says it was due to a hamstring problem which will be assessed.

“Unfortunately at half time he felt his hamstring,” the Blues boss explained.

“It wasn’t a tactical change, it was one that was enforced and Cucu has been top. Hopefully he’ll be okay.

“We’ll scan him and make sure we find out if he’s available for the next game.”
