Chelsea star to miss FA Cup clash against Hull City | OneFootball

Marc Cucurella will miss Chelsea’s FA Cup tie against Hull City on Friday after going off with a hamstring issue against Leeds.

The Spaniard is undergoing medical assessment with it not yet known whether he is set for a spell out.

But Rosenior says he will definitely miss the clash with Hull.

“Marc, it’s too early,” he said. “It’s definitely out for the game against Hull.

“We’re just doing our scans and assessments on him and hopefully he’s not too long.”

Reece James could return after missing the 2-2 draw with Leeds due to illness, with Rosenior saying that a final decision would be made on Thursday.

“Reece has trained modified,” Rosenior said.

“He’s still under the weather and we’ll make a decision on Reece tomorrow but it’s good news that he’s back on the training pitch.

“He’s had a really bad bug and hopefully he’s recovered from that.”
