Chelsea’s team to face Arsenal is out, and there is one particularly notable call from Liam Rosenior.

With Wesley Fofana suspended after his red against Burnley last week, the question from everyone was on who would partner Trevoh Chalobah at the back for Chelsea. As we noted yesterday, all of the options have issues.

But in the end, Liam Rosenior has rolled the dice and gone with Mamadou Sarr.

Sarr given the nod ahead of more senior options

The youngster only arrived back from his loan at Strasbourg in January, and hasn’t started a Premier League game yet. But Rosenior knows him from their shared time in France together, and clearly thinks he’s ready.

It certainly was a solid debut from the teenager against Hull in the FA Cup two weeks, ago, but this is a whole different ball game. He’s going to be seriously tested today.

It’s also pretty damning for Benoit Badiashile and Tosin Adarabioyo, the more senior options. You can certainly push them that much closer to the exit this summer. Neither has been reliable enough when given the chance, and they’re now paying the price.

We can’t wait to see how Mamadou gets on. Come on you Blues!

In other news…

Todd Boehly has been speaking at yet another business conference, and as you can imagine he’s put his foot in his mouth once again.

The full team for the game is in the post here, with some interesting decisions from Rosenior overall.
