Chelsea to face Real Sociedad in Champions League qualifier

Chelsea have discovered their opponents in the third qualifying round of the Women's Champions League.

Sonia Bompastor's team will have to defeat Spanish side Real Sociedad for a place in the League Phase of the competition with the first leg to be played on August 26th and the return fixture on September 2nd.

The Chelsea game is one of a few eye-catching fixtures from today's draw, which will also see Eintracht Frankfurt taken on Paris Saint-Germain and Ajax face off against Real Madrid.

Should Chelsea progress against Real Sociedad, who finished third in Liga F last season, then they will join fellow WSL sides Arsenal and Manchester City in the League Phase, with the draw for that expected to take place on September 4th.
