According to Foot Mercato, Chelsea have set their sights on AS Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara, 22, as a summer target.

The Senegal international is already on the radar of Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest, Liverpool and Manchester United, and Palace are said to have lodged an offer.

While Camara is emerging as a priority for the Blues this window, any pursuit would depend on Chelsea offloading one or two midfielders first.

Camara is under contract at Monaco and has quickly established himself in Ligue 1 in his role. The club value him at around €50m.

The principality side are not inclined to compromise on that price, mindful of the former FC Metz player’s potential.
