Chelsea trio back in training ahead of Champions League game

Chelsea trio Jamie Gittens, Estevao and Malo Gusto all took part in team training ahead of the Champions League clash with Pafos.

All three missed the Blues’ win over Brentford on Saturday but look set to return to the squad when they host the Cypriot side at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

Estevao had been struggling with illness, with boss Liam Rosenior saying after the win over Brentford: “Yeah, he was ill. It’s running through the squad. There were a few, I won’t say who, but there were a couple of players playing today who were complaining about their chests.”

Axel Disasi also took part in training having been frozen out of the first-team picture this season.

But fellow defender Tosin was not involved after suffering an injury against Brentford.
