New kit for next season will be first worn Down Under next month
Chelsea have unveiled their new home kit for the 2026-27 season.
Tuesday morning saw the new kit revealed on the club’s official channels.
The blue shirt comes complete with golden lining across both shoulders, as well as a gold vintage Chelsea lion logo and a gold-coloured logo of the kit manufacturer Nike.
Chelsea will debut the kit in pre-season, where they begin by facing Western Sydney Wanderers in Australia on July 28.
The launch followed months of speculation about the kit, which had been worn by various celebrities as part of the club’s “spotted in the wild” marketing campaign.

That meant that celebrities such as English golfer Justin Rose, at the PGA Championship in Pennsylvania, and American singer Noah Kahan on social media were photographed wearing the new home kit before it had been officially released.
While the kit will be worn by both the men’s and women’s team, the Chelsea men’s team will have retain the golden ‘World Champions’ crest they wore in the centre of their kits during the 2025-26 season to commemorate their 2025 FIFA Club World Cup triumph.
Chelsea’s brand director Scott Fenton said of the kit: “We've been building cultural gravity around this club for a couple of seasons now.
“Partnerships with Roc Nation, collabs with the WWE, conversations with the worlds of music and fashion all proved that the best of London culture and the best of football belong in the same room.
“After the response to ‘London, It's Our House’ last year, we knew the bar was set high. This launch is what happens when you stop treating a kit launch as a product announcement and start treating it as a global moment.”
