Well at least this has given me a laugh, the Chelsea valuation of Nicolas Jackson.
The Stamford Bridge club having signed Liam Delap for £30m and Joao Pedro for £50m.
This new report (see below) from The Mail detailing how Chelsea value Nicolas Jackson at £100m.
Jackson having fallen behind both Delap and Pedro, though despite this, Chelsea somehow valuing Nicolas Jackson at £20m more than the other two put together!
Chelsea getting as creative with the valuations that they put on their players, as they do with their accountants and when dealing with any rules they don’t want to respect.
When outsiders want to claim that Alexander Isak isn’t worth £150m+, the fact that Chelsea want to believe a bang average striker like Nicolas Jackson is worth £100m, says it all doesn’t it! Especially when Jackson looks in more danger of getting a red card these days, rather than scoring goals.
The top quality strikers are in reality priceless, certainly NUFC with Alexander Isak.
Imagine how gutted you would be if you woke up tomorrow and found that Newcastle United had sold Alexander Isak to Chelsea for £50m plus Nicolas Jackson!!
The Mail report on Nicolas Jackson – 11 July 2025:
‘Nicolas Jackson is on AC Milan’s six-man shortlist for a new centre forward and the Italians are confident he can be prised away from Chelsea after falling down the pecking order.
New signings Liam Delap and Joao Pedro have leapt ahead of Jackson, who fears he has lost the trust of Blues boss Enzo Maresca.
His goals have faded out with only four since the turn of the year and two red cards in his last five appearances, against Newcastle in the Premier League and Flamengo in the Club World Cup.
The 24-year-old Senegal international arrived two years ago for £32million from Villarreal.
