Chelsea host Ajax in the Champions League tonight, seeking to maintain an upward trajectory having won three games in a row across all competitions either side of the international break. A run that began in the second League Phase fixture against Benfica last month is expected to continue following the visit of the Dutch giants who are struggling at present.

Enzo Maresca is currently dealing a lengthy injury list which is having an impact in attack with Cole Palmer and Liam Delap notable absentees alongside the suspended Joao Pedro. However, Enzo Fernandez should be fit enough for a return to action as the Blues aim to record back-to-back Champions League wins for the first time in three years.
