Chelsea will be hoping to conclude their pre-season tour of Asia with a victory when they face Johor Darul Ta'zim.

Xabi Alonso's side head to Malaysia on Sunday evening for one final game before flying back to London to begin finishing their preparations for the 2026/27 season.

They come into Sunday's fixture following a victory over AC Milan after a convincing 3-0 win against the Serie A side. A brace from Joao Pedro and a superb strike from Moises Caicedo ensured they put their consecutive defeats to Tottenham and Juventus behind them.

The win against Milan sees Chelsea with two wins and two defeats, so they will be hoping for a positive overall record before the final game against Real Sociedad on August 15 to finish preparations.

It was Chelsea's best performance, the most complete as Alonso described it, against Milan, so the Blues boss will be keen for Sunday's side to emulate the positive result from Indonesia.

Chelsea are set for changes against the Malaysian Super League side. Having played against AC Milan 24 hours prior, Alonso will give opportunities to the academy players on the tour, as well as those who didn't play the majority of the game against AC Milan.

This will see the likes of Mike Penders, Tosin Adarabioyo, Mahdi Nicoll-Jazuli, Jamie Gittens, Dastan Satpayev, Mykhailo Mudryk and Liam Delap be given time on the pitch.

Teddy Sharman-Lowe, Tayo Subuloye, Dario Essugo and Reggie Walsh didn't feature at all against Milan.

Aaron Anselmino, Estevao Willian, Geovany Quenda and Nicolas Jackson all had cameo appearances against Ruben Amorim's side, so they will be hoping to play more minutes on Sunday.

Levi Colwill was absent against AC Milan, but it remains unclear if he will play any part or even make the matchday squad. He has been dealing with a minor issue, so he has been left out of the last two games as a precaution.
