Chelsea Women will play all their Women’s Super League matches at Stamford Bridge from 2026-27.
After sporadic outings there this season, the team will settle there fully next term. Aki Mandhar, managing director of the women’s section, said in a club statement that staging WSL games at such an iconic ground ensures players and supporters get the venue they deserve.
Stamford Bridge, Chelsea’s home since 1905, will also become the women’s team’s base from next season.
Sonia Bompastor’s English champions have spent the past nine years playing league matches at Kingsmeadow, a 4,850 capacity ground that was regularly sold out.
For the Champions League, the London club have already been using Stamford Bridge, as UEFA regulations prevented games being staged at Kingsmeadow.
