Chelsea captain Millie Bright has signed a contract extension until the summer of 2026, with the option of an extra year.
She has made 280 appearances in ten years with the Blues, with whom her honours feature seven WSL titles and five FA Cups.
A Euro 2020 winner with England and World Cup finalist among her 80+ caps for her country, Bright has been named in the PFA’s WSL Team of the Year on three occasions, twice in the FIFA FIFPro Women’s World XI and was awarded an OBE for services to association football in the King’s New Year Honours List for 2024.
Bright told chelseafc.com: ‘Representing this club and continuing our journey together was never a question to me. This club is my home. Chelsea runs through me. The legacy continues…’
Head of women’s football Paul Green added: “Millie is the leader of the team and our longest serving player. This extension will take her into her 12th season at the club, which is a big achievement.
