Chelsea’s Wesley Fofana a doubt to start against PSG | OneFootball

As per a report from Onze Mondial, Wesley Fofana (25) may not be able to start against Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night. 

The France international has been suffering from some muscular discomfort, as reported by L’Équipe on Monday. However, it was hoped that he would nonetheless be fit enough to start for Chelsea against PSG, as the former look to overturn their 5-2 deficit in order to progress in the UEFA Champions League.

Sarr in for Gusto?

However, Onze Mondial understands that Fofana will not be fit enough to start. He is expected to be replaced by Jorrel Hato in the middle of the Chelsea defence. There, he would partner Trevoh Chalobah.

There are also still concerns surrounding Malo Gusto, who is struggling with cold-like symptoms and therefore missed Monday’s training session. Should he not be fit enough to start on Tuesday night, L’Équipe understands that he would be replaced by Mamadou Sarr.
