Chivas Femenil confirmed their strong start to the Clausura 2026 after defeating Querétaro 2-0 on Matchday 4, remaining both unbeaten and unscored upon in the circuito rosa. With this result, the Rojiblancas reached 10 points, matching their best start in Liga MX Femenil history without conceding a goal, with four clean sheets.

True to their style, Guadalajara began the match applying high pressure and showing excellent positioning in midfield, which allowed them to control possession and generate constant transitions toward the opposition’s goal. That approach resulted in several scoring chances and was reflected on the scoreboard before halftime, when Denise Castro put the Rebaño ahead to go into the break with the lead.

In the second half, the Rojiblancas managed the advantage intelligently, maintaining control of the ball through quick recoveries. Far from settling, they continued to push in the attacking third until the very end, which paid off with a stoppage-time goal from Adriana Iturbide to seal the final score.

Chivas Femenil will now have to quickly switch focus, as their next match will be an away visit to Puebla on Matchday 5, next Sunday, January 25, at 12:00 PM.

37’ | Denise opened the scoring! Castro broke into the box, beat the defensive line and fired a left-footed shot to the near post, impossible for the visiting goalkeeper.
