This morning, Chivas Femenil's preparation for the Apertura 2024 came to an end with a triumph, as they defeated Santos 3-1 in a friendly match. This was the fourth preseason game for the Chingonas, who closed this stage with 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss against Barcelona.
The match was totally dominated by the Red and White team, so much so that after a few minutes it was reflected on the scoreboard. Guadalajara's intensity suffocated the Lagunero team, who had very few approaches to the Guadalajara ground.
In addition to the positive result, Joaquín 'Quino' Moreno was able to give activity to his entire squad, which is going through an important internal competition ahead of the start of the championship.
The Rebaño Femenil will make its debut in the AP24 of the pink circuit next Thursday, July 4 at 9 PM at the Estadio Olímpico Benito Juárez, visiting FC Juárez.
The Goals
-1-0: After 4' of play, the Red-and-White took the lead when Viridiana Salazar collected a rebound from the Santista goalkeeper to simply push the ball into the six-yard box.-2-0: 20 minutes later, Tapatistas' lead was extended from the right by 'Licha' Cervantes, who scored from the penalty spot.-3-0: The third came from the head of 'Gaby' Valenzuela at 33', on a precise cross by Yamile Franco from a set piece. -3-1: The Laguneras pulled one back in the 43rd minute, with a mid-range shot by Magali Cuadrado that went into the top corner of Celeste Espino's goal.
