Chivas Femenil did what it had to do: it went into hell and defeated Toluca 0-2 in the second leg of the Apertura 2025 quarterfinals, played at the Nemesio Diez Stadium. With this victory, the Rebaño reached its second consecutive semifinals for the first time since 2022.

Antonio Contreras' team was very smart in managing the moments of the game, understanding the momentum of the home team and spreading out into space at every opportunity. They also had the scoring instinct of Alicia Cervantes, who once again scored two goals against the Diablas in a Final Phase match.

First, on a second play from a set piece, and then with the coolness of a true Predator, "Licha" gave Chiverío the ticket they were looking for with great conviction.

Now, Guadalajara will focus on a new series of El Clásico de México, facing América in the semifinals. The dates and times are yet to be confirmed.

The goals

- There's the 'Predator'! In the 35th minute, Alicia Cervantes appeared alert and on time to deflect a shot from Viridiana Salazar and wrong-foot the goalkeeper for the first goal of the match.

- ANOTHER DOUBLE FROM 'LICHA'! In the 82nd minute, Cervantes received the ball inside the area, cut inside her marker and, with Martínez off her line, finished to seal another double against the Escarlatas in the playoffs.

The dangerous ones

- In the 16th minute, the ball reached 'Gaby' Valenzuela, who entered the area determined to hit the target, but her contact was not ideal and the ball went wide.- In the 43rd minute, 'Viri' received the ball at the edge of the area, cut inside and fired a left-footed shot towards the far post, which went over the crossbar.- In the 45+3rd minute, Salazar set up Denise in front of goal, but the goalkeeper's save prevented her from finishing comfortably and the ball crashed into Martínez.- Again in the 62nd minute, 'Viri' drove outside the area, cut inside and took a left-footed shot, but she was unable to strike the ball cleanly.
