Chivas Femenil defeats Atlas in its first preseason friendly match | OneFootball

After several days of intense preseason training, Chivas Femenil had a good start on its way to the Clausura 2026. This Monday, they beat Atlas 2–1 at Sports Arena in a match played over four periods.

Even though the visitors struck first at the start of the game, El Rebaño stayed calm, knowing there was plenty of time to come back and for Antonio Contreras to get minutes to his entire squad.

Chivas’ comeback started with a header from Samantha López, who slipped into the box unmarked to finish off a cross from Viridiana Salazar. The game-winner came from Alicia Cervantes, who popped up at the back post to tap in a cross-shot from Damaris Godínez, after she beat her defender with a quick self-pass.

Las Rojiblancas next preseason test will be this Sunday morning against León, also at Sports Arena.
