Chivas Femenil Falls to Pachuca in a Tight Apertura 2026 Clash

It was not the afternoon Chivas Femenil had hoped for. Guadalajara traveled to Estadio Hidalgo this afternoon to face Pachuca on Matchday 4 of the Apertura 2026. Although the Rojiblancas showed character and competed from start to finish, they ultimately fell 3-1 to the Tuzas.

The Rebaño arrived in Hidalgo looking to maintain its perfect start to the tournament and was rewarded for its persistence in the 33rd minute. Natalia Colín delivered a precise pass that found Alicia Cervantes, who fired a clinical shot into the back of the net to give Guadalajara the lead.

Antonio Contreras’ side maintained its intensity after taking the lead, with Blanca Félix emerging as one of the match’s standout players. In the 49th minute, the Rojiblanca goalkeeper produced a spectacular save to keep the ball out and prevent the hosts from finding an equalizer. However, the Tuzas turned the game around with goals from Charlyn Corral, Yirleidis Quejada and Ohale Osinachi.

With the result, Chivas Femenil suffered its first setback of the Apertura 2026 and will now turn the page and focus on its next challenge, when it hosts Pumas at Estadio AKRON on Sunday, August 30 at 5:00 PM in Matchday 5 of the Apertura 2026.
