Chivas Femenil Makes Rayadas Work for the Win | OneFootball

Chivas Femenil showed great resilience this afternoon at Estadio AKRON, overcoming a three-goal deficit against Rayadas to eventually pin the Monterrey side back in its own half. However, time ran out before they could find the equalizer, as they ultimately fell 3-2. With the result, the Rojiblancas remained on 12 points in Group B of the league.

It was definitely not a good first half for the Rebaño. They fell behind on the scoreboard very early in the match and, just as they were beginning to settle into the game, conceded two more goals on specific plays.

However, Guadalajara's character came to the fore. Led by Antonio Contreras' substitutions, along with the Rojiblancas' pride and determination, Chiverío gradually pushed the Monterrey side deeper into its own territory. They pushed so hard that they eventually cut the deficit to just one goal. In the closing stages, the Tapatías gave everything on every play, throwing themselves completely into attack until time finally ran out.

Next week, Chivas Femenil will travel to the border to face Tijuana on Saturday, September 19, at Estadio Caliente in Matchday 8 of the Apertura 2026.
