Chivas Femenil Overpower Puebla with a Goal-Filled Masterclass | OneFootball

Chivas Femenil's return to Estadio Cuauhtémoc could hardly have gone better: the Rojiblancas won, impressed, and scored four goals against Puebla in a 1-4 victory on Matchday 2 of the Apertura 2026, with several spectacular finishes along the way. With two wins to start the tournament, the Rebaño now has six points in Group B of the Liga Femenil.

There was only one team on the pitch in Puebla, as Guadalajara had little trouble finding a way through La Franja's defense. It took just one powerful strike from outside the box to begin the Rojiblancas' goal-scoring showcase, with Chivas taking a commanding 0-2 lead into halftime.

The second half followed a similar script, as Guadalajara stepped up the intensity at key moments with two objectives in mind: create more separation on the scoreboard and manage the workload of its players. It was also during this stage that Natalia Colin made her official debut as a Chivas player.

With two consecutive victories to open the AP26, Chivas Femenil will now turn its attention to its next home match, when it hosts Atlético San Luis at Estadio AKRON on Sunday, August 16.

In the 82nd minute, Castro arrived in the heart of the box and struck Mayra Pelayo's cross on the volley, beating the goalkeeper despite her desperate attempt to make the save.- Puebla pulled one back in the 88th minute through a long-range effort from Brina Micheels.
