The end of the 2025 Apertura is just around the corner for Chivas Femenil, who will play their last regular season match against Necaxa this Friday. Once again, El Rebaño will be looking to finish the tournament strong, with their sights set on reaching the playoffs in top form.
Since the start of the women's circuit, Chiverío has maintained an outstanding performance in the final rounds, and here we tell you how they have fared. The balance speaks for itself: in the last 15 final rounds since AP2017, Chivas has achieved 10 wins, 2 draws, and only 3 losses.
Goals have also been an ally in these closings, as the Rojiblancas have almost tripled the number of goals scored compared to goals conceded: 34 for and only 12 against. In addition, they have kept a clean sheet in 9 of those games, reflecting defensive order and attacking forcefulness.
When playing at home and in the Apertura tournaments, the end of the season takes on a special flavor, with memorable victories. One of the most memorable is the 6-0 win against Santos in J17 of AP24 at the AKRON Stadium, with a hat trick by Adriana Iturbide, a brace by Alicia Cervantes, and a goal by Montserrat Hernández.
Also noteworthy are the 3-0 home wins in J17 of AP22 and AP23. First, against Cruz Azul, with a brace from 'Licha' Cervantes and one from Damaris Godínez. Then, against Pachuca, with goals from Gabriela Valenzuela, Rubí Soto, and Carolina Jaramillo.
With this track record, there are high expectations for the match against Necaxa, in which the Rojiblancas will seek to earn three points that will leave them in top form for the Fiesta Grande.
